I have purchased this three (3) times--once new, twice used because it is no longer available new. I have also loaned my copiers out to friends I am not Jewish by birth or faith, but RAbbi Kushner's stories and interpretations and the metaphors hidden in Old Testament stories so clearly fit with many present day interpretations of stories in the New Testament that is confirming and inspiring. My friends and I have, quite literally, worn out two copies of these cassettes and may soon be reduced to buying the book--second hand, of course! Suppliers of the second hand copies have been prompt and condition of tapes adequote
I facilitate a class in Kabbalah and we use this book as a teaching aid. We are truly enjoying it. This is the second Kushner book we have used, both were very good.
I really enjoyed this book. I profess to be a "Christian" (although I may not be the "best" example), but definitely feel there's a LOT to be learned from the "Old" Testament, as well as the "New." I still have a LOT of "curiosity" and enjoy looking "at depth" into many things ... and this Hebrew language is RICH in meaning and symbolism that can be quite relevant to us "Christians." It's not "just for the Jewish folks."
