I thought I was so proud of myself for maybe having an inkling of where this series might go next. Just as the gods laugh at mortals with a plan, I’m sure authors laugh at readers with a theory. Because at no point could I have predicted any of what just happened in this book. I love that we’re starting to tease threads of Seline’s very tangled web free, and that were beginning to see how Draven is wrapped up in it all. And while I love all the suspense and drama the slow reveal across the series creates, it’s making me a crazy person because I NEED the know the answers. I guess I’m just going to have to wait (im)patiently for the next book now.I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Wings of Night is right.... when you pick up this book and start to read it, you won't be able to put it down until night. Katerina Martinez spins an amazing story about magical beings from another place that have no real memories of their former lives. Little by little pieces come back to them. Some have more memories than others, but not all.I am very intrigued with Seline and exactly what she is, and without giving away spoilers about her connection with Draven. This installment was action packed from the start, and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. I want more now
I absolutely love this fantastic series. It has some amazing characters and so much suspense that it is killing me not knowing the answers. Plenty of action and an overall well written story. Though it did need to be edited better. I can't wait for the next book.
This was a great read It kept the story going smoothly. It seems for every answer Seline gets she ends up with many more questions. It more of the crazy rollercoaster ride. Can’t wait to see what happens next
I loved that Seline was able to learn a little more in this book. I won’t mention any spoilers, I’m looking forward to the next book to see if anything happens between her and Draven. I really hope so!
Another amazing must read, as usual. Katerina Martinez builds a world that is hard to leave behind. Be prepared to sit and read without a break, because you won't want to put this down.
This is a great book 2 for The Obsidian Order. A continuation that makes you want more. A journey that needs more miles. I recommend this series to all and I want more!
Good fantasy plot line, the characters are interesting and the book is mostly non-stop action. Very light romantic angle, very very slow burn style.
