Edain became a self-initiated Witch in 1981 and has been an active part of the Pagan community since her formal initiation into a large San Antonio coven in 1983. Â Edain has researched alternative spiritualities since her teens, when she was first introduced to Kaballah, or Jewish mysticism. Â Since that time, she has studied a variety of magickal paths including Celtic, Appalachian folk magick, and Curanderismo, a Mexican-American folk tradition. More 3 1/2 but thats not really an option. This book is no where near as bad as the hype claims. For one, she does NOT claim a potoe goddess like is often said but rather says a potoe can be used to repsent the Goddess. Seeing how Earth is often deemed a female element, it kinda makes sense. Not something I would choose however. Would i recommend at full price? i can't say fully yes. I'll fully say I got mine for like a penny used from a seller. Never reject a book or author just cuz the masses say so. Read for yourself and deice for yourself.

Witta doesnt exist this book covers a modern neopagan magical system but I would encourage people to read the book because it has value.Yes the author makes mistakes when she discusses history but this isnt a book about Irish history it is a book on a neopagan system of magic working... thats all. Anyone who goes reading books on neopaganism to learn about history is in the wrong section and their mistake is their own not the authors imo.If youd like to see what the celticism of the 90s is like when combined with neowicca or if youd like to see how secular folk traditions can be combined with modern neopaganism this is an entertaining read for you. There is no "Ancient Potato Goddess" mentioned in the book and any celtic reconstructionists that dont like my review are free fly to Ireland for a chat with me about the importance of my cultures heritage.

The book is great! It is full of awesome facts and historical information. I would recommend this to my friends.

Not fond of this one, to be completely honest. The Irish information was remotely interesting to read through, but all it looks like is a Wicca-repackaged-replaced-with-t's book with an Irish flavor. It was so disappointing that a bug crawling on the wall next to me was more interesting than paying genuine attention to the book. I dutifully read through it since I got it as a gift and kept waiting for -one sentence- to jump at me saying 'Hey, this is worth my time!'.If you're really interested in Irish culture and bringing it into your craft, you'd be better off studying mythology, history and other books, not this thing.My fault for reading it all the way through. Wish I could give it some glowing tidbit of praise to make it worth one's time, but... nope, sorry, can't do it.

Well, most of the scathing reviews have said what I'd say.Bad, bad scholarship. I dont know what some people are being taught, but the potatoe came from America to Ireland after the 15th century, so there goes that ancient potato thing.Again, there is no W in Gaeilge (Irish), Witta cannot be pronounced.Oh there are so many things wrong with her "facts".Now, if she had stated this was a new tradition, and she was inspired by the Irish, fine, I wouldnt be so bothered. But she didnt.To those who say it doesnt matter if it's factual, consider this.It may not matter to you, for whatever reason, but it matters to the culture, to the people of that culture, who are being misrepresented. Our Celtic cultures have been fighting for their identities for centuries, they still fight. It wasn't that long ago it was illegal to speak Irish in Ireland. It wasnt all that long ago my ancestral clan cheifs were hanged, the clans scattered, forced out of our home. Losing our stories, our lore, our ways, in successive generations of expatriates.Why does this matter, you say? Because there is a real danger of losing the cultural traditions all over, losing the language is a sure way to lose much of the soul of the people. Lying about those cultures, which is basically what McCoy has done, serves only to further aid in killing it. Before we know it, people will learn of Ireland, Scotland, etc. through falsehoods, believing they are learning the real thing, and never actually reaching it. They'll then pass this on to those they know as being true. Oh wait, that's already happening...And the truth will fade away from peoples minds. It's happening IN those countries. Some dont know their own history.If you actually care about Celts, our culture, do not buy fakes, look for the real deal. Educate people with facts.I will not support anything that assists in muddying my culture for the masses to make a buck. Will you?If this path works for you, fine, but please do not present it as "ancient tradition" or "fact".Dont care when an author is dishonest? I dont understand that, I dont understand lies ever being good. Think I'm being dramatic? I'm assure you I'm not.

This book claims to be "An Irish Pagan Tradition". In my opinion; this book is simply a re-hashed version of Wicca.This book is extremely lacking in how to actualy perform magick. However; I did very much enjoy the chapter dealing with the Fairy (faery) folk. This section is worthwhile."Wicca: A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" Scott Cunningham presents the most wholesome well balanced version of Wicca in all of the Wiccan books I have read so far."A Witch Alone" Marion Green is also very good for ideas and techniques BUT I disagree with some of her notions.The Banishing and Invoking pentagrams on page 35 are reversed. Rimantas creatively shares ideas on how to get the most out of your trading strategy, and market the service using one trading pair to multiple currencies.The author exudes positivity, and his encouragement to step out there, even with a demo account was bold and refreshing in a competitive market. The great thing about Forex is that people tend to buy more than one trading signal, so there's room for you to succeed if you apply the knowledge in this book.

I learned basics about (the most important things for me):- Main / largest social trading networks.- Trading signals delivery software.- PAMM & LAMM accountsNow I can understand that (for example):- I should pick my audience and don’t advertise or try to sell my service to everyone. Even selling this to any investor would seem a bad idea.- Before offering my signal I should tell them my story how I created my strategy.- Performance record (posted on site, that is well respected in the industry) of my trading signals is one of the most important parts of my success in running a trade signals business.- And so on …I like that the author of the book is a positive minded person.

Badly written and full of awful statements (such as "you don't need to know the subject to make money selling the subject") but the only book on the market on this topic. If you want an orientation, it's the only game in town. So far.

I have on now started reading this guide I stumbled on to while looking for another product. All I can say is "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear". I've had it in my mind to start a signal business for quite some time, as soon as I was able to demonstrate a profitable system on a live account. Problem was raising capital for that account. I've only started making my way through the book and have already been presented with strategies of getting started NOW in this business without the need for first having a live account. I purchased the book as there was (and may still be) a promotion for Rimantas's LTC or Local Trade Copier software for the first buyers of the book. It is not what you would expect stylistically, and there are no pictures to make it more attractive read, but it was recommended to me by Jim Dandy (jimdandyforex.com), whom I trust. After reading it, I have better understanding how involving a business like this is, and it's a good thing. It was very well spent money and has enough info and guidance to start me on this path. If you have been bitten by the FX bug and are serious about starting this business, it's a must read. If you're not sure - the book is the best way to find out. I am using the LTC for three weeks now and demo copying to three accounts only, so it is early to say how reliable the software is, but so far it works fine.

The content of this book is comprehensive, but some examples in the 13th edition (latest edition) are incorrect. For example on page 158, problem 10 has two valid answers, A and E.Hopefully next editions will correct some of these mistakes.

The book is very good. It was the main reason that I got an 800. But the problem with the book is that the explanations to the answer choices can be very vague or not make sense at times. It goes into more than any other test prep book but in terms of its presentation the barons math level 1 is better.

Marie Gale is a self-professed computer geek who actually likes reading laws, statutes, regulations, court cases and old books. Marie lives in Southwestern Oregon with the man of her life. Marie does a great job of making the laws understandable. It is a great resource to have for the DIY person.

Great book!If you are new to labeling cosmetics don't do anything until you've read this book! I'm serious...this saved me from a whole host of mistakes that could have ended up being costly both financially & to my brand. It's a quick well-organized read, so you have very little to lose by taking an hour to read this!I rarely buy actual books anymore, but I got the paperback for this one & I'm so glad I did. It's the kind of book you read, re-read, write notes in & refer to over & over. Thank you for such a succinct & useful manual...who knows how much cost & headache this little book has saved me!?!

I cannot sing the praises of this book enough. I have recommended it to fellow soapers and bath and body product makers. It is the most thorough guide out there and I love that it is in my hands and I am not having to scroll back and forth. Every product is broken down into how you need to label it and to what specifications. It is something that is really helpful to older and newer soapers. This is a must for everyone who is thinking of owning a business. I know my review is choppy, but this is one where I cannot say enough good things!

The author is not a lawyer, but I am (although not in this area of expertise which is why I bought this book), and I can say that it is well written, clear, concise and well organized. It is easy to understand, especially for the lay person. You definitely need the information in this book if you are crafting your own products. I know I will be referring to it regularly as I make my soaps and skin care products. Even if you are only crafting for fun, e.g., for gift giving and not selling retail, your products will look more professional if they are labelled properly. This book gives you all of the information you need to do that.

This is the PERFECT book for anyone who is in the soap making or cosmetic making business. It tells you all the ins and outs of the labeling business. I learned a lot from this book. I thought I knew most of the laws involved in labeling just by researching the internet but I didn't know hardly anything until I read this book. It's a must have.

Sal shows us how to validate a product first so that it has a higher chance of succeeding on Kickstarter. He also placed emphasis on having a good Kickstarter video and he showed us how to make an epic Kickstarter video. He also placed emphasis on social proof which helped boost my funding to over 300%. He also tells us how to handle a Kickstarter project after it finishes which I found helpful. Overall great read and it definitely helped me raise more on my Kickstarter project.

My favorite book on crowdfunding!I'm just preparing myself for my upcoming launch, and I feel I saved 10.000 USD. (at least) I just made a ton of notes. I have a very small budget as a solopreneur and for me, it was very important to find a cheap way to understand how crowdfunding works and how can I create a successful project. Now it's clear, and I know I have six months to prepare. I have a great action plan. Definitely suggest buying the book and implement the strategies. Thanks Sal

If you’re fortunate enough to be using some of the technology covered (ISE especially assuming you have licenses for features like Profiling & Posturing), you can follow along. The book in my opinion is also a nice reference to have, especially since it covers a lot of information about Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine). With that being said for those not aware (I wasn’t), this book is almost word-for-word with the Official Cert Guide CCNP Security SISAS 300-208; even the diagrams/screenshots.So I wasted some money in the end. Co-writer Aaron T. Woland helped create both books.3 Stars only because of what I mentioned about the Cert Guide. Perhaps this was mentioned in a previous review and I missed it.

My comment is regarding printed edition. Many images are of bad quality, sometimes unreadable. Maybe electronic version is better.There are cheaper books with lot of high quality color photo images.Content seems to be OK.

Very detailed and well thought out book. Super useful as ISE can be pretty complex.
