This book is required for me to read for my Food Science class this semester. I was not sure what it was going to be about, but the title intruiged me. As I got to reading, it truly inspired me to be a better student, girlfriend, and daughter to my sick mother. I will take away a lot from this book. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to go the extra mile, as it inspires and gives advice.

PROS: The premise of this book makes it great for motivational moments, and you can read it cover-to-cover in less than 20 minutes. I've used the intro in two organizational presentations and both times, it has spawned lots of discussion. The 212 concept is developed enough that it can be easily merged into a variety of industry areas and adapted for different audiences--professional, personal, religious, etc. CONS: I bought it after I scanned the first few pages, and was a little disappointed to find that the content gets a little watered down as the book progresses. It starts to become a collection of motivational sayings without any additional substance. One of the "chapters/sections" is only 2 pages long, and I kept thinking, "did they leave pages out?" OVERALL: The beginning of the book is powerful, and the concepts will stick, so it's well worth it's tiny pricetag! 212 The Extra Degree

I guess, to make it "feel" like a legitimate book, Mr. Parker felt he had to package lots of stuff around it. The idea is quite simple and transformative. And while the fluff around it isn't needed, it's not a distraction. I'd have preferred an even briefer book-ito and a much lower price point.

I first saw this book on my banker's desk. The title intrigued me. It took me awhile to finally purchase it, but now that I have "normal" has shifted up a few degrees! Mediocrity has a new name - yesterday! Get this book for some straight-forward, challenging enlightenment on the concept of excellence!

I cannot believe what an amazingly gorgeous set this is.It's a hard box that the box containing the book and cards slide out of like a VHS video cassette out of its sleeve.The box is durable and beautiful and big. It has to be to contain the book. I have never seen a tarot set, Oracle set, or Lenormand come with such a big, nice book. And such quality. It's beautiful inside and out.And the cards! The cards! The cards! I do so love them. They are like the larger cards we see. They seem like good quality. And they are so beautiful.Please, if you even think you want this set, buy it now. It's a deal at regular price, but at less than $20? Come on. This is champagne at a beer price.The cards are not as vibrant as what I thought they would be but they are still very pretty.

I absolutely adore the Druid Craft Tarot, its my go to deck out of my small collection. I enjoy it so much that I bought three decks! My first deck purchased was splendid! Great saturation in color, semi gloss card stock, firm but flexible enough for shuffling. My hands are average sized, and I had a hard time shuffling most of the time so I modified the size, and I loved them even more.I bought a second deck so that I could have a deck in its original form, one that I would not alter, but I was disappointed in the quality of this deck. The cards have a thinner feel, a matte finish, and the color looked washed out on the face side of the cards, and varied in saturation from card to card. When I turned them over to inspect the backs, I noticed that the color varied also, like two different prints where thrown together to make one franken deck. I kept it because I don't like to be "that" customer who is demanding and difficult over something that isn't such a huge deal.I went for a third try, the new deck that became available this year, March 2019, I figured a deck that is hot off the presses is bound to be consistant and of better quality. Again, disappointed...This time after slowly inspecting each card in the minor arcana (unshuffled), I am fuming over some seriously damaged cards! The ten of cups is bent in a peculiar way, a semi circular crease on the left.The Prince of Cups has a crease diagonally across.Queen of Cups has a minor chip in the white border (face side).King of Cups is bent in the upper left corner.The Ace of Swords has a rip in the lower right corner. A Rip!!!There are several scratches and creases on the backs of the Minor Arcana.I didn't dare remove the Major Arcana plastic band to inspect those, I've seen enough.Now I have to return the package that I have been so eager to get my hands on for months. So be it.😣

After weeks in anticipation on receiving these as a "new printed deck", I was extremely disappointed at the quality of this deck! As a previous reviewer mentioned, the color on the cards are different shades. As if they were printed at different times. The color is also much fainter than previous decks I've seen on online reviews. The biggest disappointment came when I noticed there was a faint red line across ALL of the majors. It appears where ever the publisher decided to print this round was extremely careless with not only the printing, but the packaging as well. A few of my cards had chips on the backs as mentioned in another review. I WILL be returning these. I'm so sorry Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm. Knowing your history of great work, I know this was not intentional. :-(

The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, which I have owned for 35 years, is the best tool I have for serious study of the NT. I know of no other reference work that is so complete. There is an entry for every word used in the Greek NT. In addition to discussing the meanings of the words as used in the NT, entries discuss their use in the Septuagint, Josephus, Philo, the Church Fathers, the Gnostics, and even Greek philosophy. Volume 5 consists of entries for words starting with Xsi through Pi Alpha. (Words that begin with Pi Epsilon can be found in Volume 6.)A final word. If you are planning on procuring your TDNT one volume at a time, you should make the purchase of Volume 10 one of your priorities. This volume consists of several indexes, including all NT Greek words (and where they are discussed in the various volumes), Hebrew and Aramaic words, and other helpful lists.

You'll learn how they really got the body (hint: not exactly as in the movie/book) and how Ian Flemming (yes, THAT Ian Flemming!) was himself actively involved in "Operation Mincemeat" (a.k.a. "The Man Who Never Was") along with a host of other now-well known spies-turned-authors, such as Graham Greene, and other notables including the soon-to-be-notorious British traitor-spy, Kim Philby. Ben Macintyre is an established author and a fine writer, including "The Man Who Would Be King." This is a great book for everyone. The effects of "Operation Mincemeat" are still being felt today, and everyone should know about what has been called by historians the single, most important and successful wartime deception in history, rivaled only by the original itself, The Trojan Horse, more than 3,000 years earlier.

So I'm biased, or more properly hooked on Macintyre! His writing captures the essence of everything to come within the early paragraphs in almost every one of his books I have read. Mincemeat is no exception. Very good review for using quickbooks Online. I would have given it 5 stars, but I found an error in the last practice month. For the money I paid I would have liked at least 6 months of practice and no errors. But over all a good practice book. I haven't found anything else that gives you good practice in Quickbooks Online.

Updates in QBO have made the 2015 version unusable without some modifications. First and foremost, you cannot use the address provided in the book or you will get an error message that you cannot get past. I spent 2 hours on the phone with QBO trying to resolve with no avail. I ended choosing a random business' address and then modifying the tax amount on all of the tickets ran to "Weekly Sales" so that my numbers would match up to the book. You cannot manually adjust the tax percentage any longer, which is why the error. It was useful in some areas like entering and tracking inventory, but more complex situations are not covered (i.e. entering a sale that also has expenses tied to it).

I am becoming a Pro-Advisor and moving my clients' books over to QBO, so this practice set, which consists of a quarter's worth of transactions was really helpful to get me going on QBO. I am accustomed to Quickbooks Desktop, so needed to learn to quickly find things and run reports in QBO. This book did the trick.I just wish there were even more transactions! Maybe they can make Book 2 and Book 3 or something like that, with different industries.Anyhow, this is a great learning tool. When you make mistakes and have to find them so that you balance to the reports, that's another exercise.

Provides a very concise explanation of the QB Online transaction posting system. The workbook problems allow you to learn while you are actually using the software. The author's tips and explanations are practical and informative. When you complete the exercises you have a good grasp of how the software can be utilized for both bookkeeping clients or your own personal business.

This book was recommended to me by an Intuit employee as a good place to start with QuickBooks online. I scanned through it and it seems to answer a lot of questions about starting up a company's books online using QuickBooks. I was also looking for a highly rated program to use which QB is, if you're interested. It is also highly used by professional accountants.

This is a well written practice set. It is wonderful to get some practice experience in the full use of quickbooks online. I would definitely recommend.

This is a VERY basic introduction to handwriting. I use it with my 5 year old son who doesn't have much patience for writing (even though he had some handwriting instruction in Preschool). When my daughter was his age, I started her with the 1st Grade book and just worked through it slowly, supplementing with plenty of my own tracing pages. I would venture to say a child with even a little bit of experience might skip this book. But it's just right for my son.

Perfect, well rounded, fun, and repetitive enough to get 100% scored. My kids love these workbooks. Thank you for making and keeping learning a fun thing to do in life! The repetitiveness is not noticed by the student, yet they retain their spelling rules and words.

Same practice book my child uses at school. We felt some extra practice would be beneficial. He is is enjoying working through the book. I would buy it again.

This is working great for homeschooling. We tear the pages out (they tear neatly as long as you are careful and crease the page first) and then put them in dry-erase sleeves so that younger siblings will be eventually able to use the same book.

It is in ggod shape but it has a lot of labels and pieces of contact to cover the labels

Not what I was hoping for. I wanted pages that my daughter could trace.

Same calendar as 2018. Very deceptive!

If you've never seen her comics before or if you didn't have this calendar last year then absolutely buy this year's! You're in for a ton of laughs and clever comics. Sadly, I bought this thinking it would be new material for 2019 after I loved the 2018 version... it's all the same stuff as last year. The comics are still funny, but I was MAJORLY disappointed that it wasn't new material for the new year. I'll still enjoy it, but not as much since I know all the jokes now.

I get this calendar each year. Adorable animal cartoons. The 2019 version includes 50 new cartoons.

Purchased this calendar for my office, as I wanted something that would give me a chuckle to start by day. I'm currently two days in to the 2019 version and it has done just that.If you are looking for quirky comics to start your day, pick this calendar up!

I just think the simple art and sweet jokes are incredibly adorable and funny. This is the second one I've purchased, both as gifts. I gave the calendar 4 stars and not 5 because the box that the calendar comes in (not the shipping box) was damaged. I would expect the box to be in perfect condition for those of us giving it as a gift.

This is my all time favorite daily calendar. I love the drawings and illustrations. It’s very cute and I’ll definitely buy one for next year. I also bought one of her books and it makes me smile when I need a quick pick me up.

Sooooo cute. My daughters and I can’t wait to see it every day. There are occasionally some pages with swear words or some adult concepts so not all the pages are suitable for small children.

This is the cutest desk calendar ever! Got one for my daughter for Christmas. Wanted it myself, so I got one for my work desk. Now I'm guaranteed a smile a day.
