I purchased this book after I didn't pass my first attempt at taking the Pellet B. I can definitely assure you that you will pass if you first get this book before taking the test. I wish I would have done that in the first place.Pros: this book in my opinion has harder questions than the actual test but they are close to it. So it will definitely prepare you for the test. Also like how the answers to the questions are near the end of the book so your not tempted to look at answers. Also has a complete list of commonly misspelled words.Cons: there is only two practice tests. It would be great if there was at least 5 for better practice.

Great book, much harder than the actual exam (as others here mentioned). Using this book, I was able to get a t-score of mid-60's while taking the test in a room full of college grads.-1 star because it provides no scoring rubric. I found that I averaged around a 70% tradtional score on the practice tests, which put me in the t-score range of 60's.

This did help a bit in preparation for the PELLET-B. More because it prepared me for the types of questions that I might see, not so much the other content.

Everything in book is close to the exam. Increases your chances on passing the exam. Download the practice questions from the academy that is giving the exam. Study the questions from school giving exam plus the book questions and practice exams. The book is a career starter. Good luck

This study guide is a great full-size format, clearly presented and easy to use. It helped me prepare very well for my upcoming PELLETB written exam.

CLOZE part is the hardest part for me. As English is not my native language, I got half mistakes for the first practice exam without using any guide of the book. I then follow the instruction, step by step, the second practice exam has improved a lot. Really appreciate.

My three-year-old twins LOVE Paw Patrol so I decided to find them some books for their birthday. They are starting to get into the age where they aren't as rough on books and I was delighted to find some Paw Patrol Little Golden Books! Little Golden Books are just like I remember growing up with the thick, cardboard covers, bright and colorful paperback pages, complete with the gold binding. At approximately 6 1/2 inches by 8 inches, these books are also a great size for toddlers and even older children to hold.I read this to my twins and it was the perfect addition to their birthday presents! The story in this book is adapted from the episode entitled "Pups Turn On the Lights" (from the title page of the book) which we have not seen yet but I don't feel like we missed out on anything. Ryder, Katie, and the pups are planning a surprise birthday party for Chase when the lights go out. Suddenly, the Paw Patrol is needed to help restore power to Adventure Bay but they also need to finish planning Chase's surprise party. Can they get it all done without Chase knowing? You'll just have to read the book to find out!This book is a wonderful addition to our book collection and I love that the story is short enough so my kids won't get bored easily but long enough to actually tell a good tale. I think this book is appropriate for children of all ages because my kids love having books like this read to them and older Paw Patrol fans can practice reading this book themselves. Please note that this book does not contain Everest at all so if your Paw Patrol fan likes her the best, this book may be a little disappointing to them. I'm glad I found this before my twins' birthday because it was perfect and my kids love this book! I highly recommend this for any Paw Patrol fan!

This book is for much older kids. I wanted coloring pages and stickers. This is for 3-6th graders. There are stickers in back but not to many. There are crossword puzzles and tick tac toe.

What a fun book! I bought one for each of my kids and they absolutely loved it. The activities are fun and resulted in hours of fun. I would highly recommend this book for a fun and educational thanksgiving!

This is an interesting book and it's also thought provoking. While I believe that many of these 'signs and wonders' in Matt 24 has been fulfilled, I also believe they are yet to be fulfilled. Most of the prophecies in the Bible are dual, a type and an antitype. They happened in our past, but will happen also in either the present or future time.The cast of characters are well developed. I understand that characters must be presented as true to life in order to be believable, so it's no wonder that I'm offended by some of the things that the main antagonist says. If he didn't offend me then the author would have done a poor job of portraying him.I've always like to delve into history, although I know very little; the same goes for mythology. I've always thought that mythology was based on truth although many people think it's just made up stories from various cultures. Why did I think that? I'm not really sure, there was just something about the various pantheons that rang as true in so many things.Enough said. It's a very good book and I think you'll enjoy reading it, even if you choose to not believe it happened like that.

This book is definitely worth reading regardless of differences of theology. The Roman history, dreadfully catastrophic steps toward the Fall of Jerusalem, significance of the players, understanding of the Christians’ suffering - all of these tether a person to the book, until you come to the end and wish the next one was written already.----I was eagerly anticipating the second in the Chronicles of the Apocalypse series. I enjoyed the characters, and wanted to see how Brian Godawa wove the idea of preterism into this next installment. I love how he creates drama and action out of historical ideas.For those unaware (or haven’t read any of the other reviews), preterism, loosely, is the idea that Jesus’ Second Coming happened in 70 A.D., not uh, September 23, 2017, the 1980s, or any other time that some evangelical Christians decide. I come from the perspective that Godawa is right on many levels, but that doesn’t preclude many other things yet to happen that were revealed in the biblical book of Revelation.Godawa brings all the actors in the Roman Empire - Nero, Vespasian, Titus, the Herods - to life. The intentions, actions, and brutality, of these, and many others, -draws on historical accounts written by contemporaries. In fact, Godawa drew me so far into that unexplored world that I’ve spent hours, not only in reading Godawa’s notes on these things, but also other resources. He also brings all groups from the first century -including the Essenes, Zealots, Temple Guards, and other rebels. It makes for a lot of action!Another strength of his, is bringing the pantheons of numerous ancient regions and religions into the story. His other books also reference at least some of these, and his annotations explain a lot. I do, however, need a chart to keep them all straight.One of Godawa’s weaknesses is to try to ply every theological position he believes into his novel. He espouses Kenneth Gentry’s views, a partial preterist who also is a cessationist. In contrast to all the research he’s done in every other area, Godawa makes out-of-place assumptions. Also, the Christians in that era act more like 20th century evangelicals - following their leaders, getting embroiled in controversies, huddling in fear from bad guys - rather than relying on the Holy Spirit to guide them. This is partly why I'm giving it 4 stars, as well as some of the character development.But like I said, I can't wait for the next one.

I am a classic pre-trib rapture, post millennial end-times kind of guy. I have been that way since I read the "Late Great Planet Earth". For my entire adulthood I have been observing the times waiting for events to line-up for the rapture of the church and Christ's return to this Earth. This book and the previous one has set all me beliefs on end.Brian writes an excellent story, intermixing a dramatic backdrop with historical events. Most people who are students of the Word, no very little about the history post resurrection and pre-destruction of the temple. Instead of forcing current events into the Revelation framework, Brian demonstrates that there is a very natural fitting of historic events into Revelation framework.I was a traditional pre-trib rapture kind of guy, this book has me tipping in a new direction. I am looking forward to the next two books in the series.If you choose to read, go in with an open mind and prepare to be challenged.

The follow up to "Tyrant: Rise of the Beast (Chronicles of the Apocalypse Book 1)", this book is an enjoyable read, which is the first thing I look for in any novel. Godawa goes beyond just providing a great story though. His premise, that the apostle John wrote "The Revelation" before the fall of Jerusalem is in itself controversial. Then his relation of events and characters in John's Revelation to known historical events and figures is perhaps even more so. These connections are painstakingly documented with footnotes, which is unusual for a work of fiction. His looking into the spiritual realm provides an interesting sub-plot providing proposed motivations for some of the actions of the characters.This premise regarding "The Revelation" is not popular now, but through the story and footnotes, Godawa shows that it is at least plausible. Even if your view of Revelation is the popular view used in the "Left Behind" series, I would recommend you read this series. First you will enjoy it, and it should challenge you to more closely examine what you believe and consider this viewpoint, which has been believed by some in the church for nearly 2000 years.I received an advanced copy of this work in exchange for my honest review.

I recommend this book to my fellow UTI victims. There is much in the book that will seem familiar if you have researched UTI's online, but there is a difference. Here the information has been vetted by a pharmacist, who moreover has a clear interest in alternative cures and supplements. The information has been sanity checked and sensibly presented. For example, online you can find all kinds of dosage levels recommended for D-mannose, a supplement useful against most UTI's. In the book you find a definite recommendation on dosage, and it is one that, in my case, works without the side effects I get if I take a bigger dose.There is no over-enthusiasm in the book. Herbs and supplements that are only sort of useful are not presented as miracle cures; the more useful ones get better recommendations, but never over the top. The author avoids the hype and hurrah common in the supplements industry. So then, for being a fair minded and useful look at the treatments available, I give this little volume five stars because there is no six stars button.

All in all, a very good book. Easy to read with no padding. He cuts right to the chase. I have been on an intensive antibiotic regime which worked for awhile but apparently I have quit responding to it and I’m allergic to all the other antibiotics they can use so I need to find another solution. Though I have tried D-Mannose in the past, with varying degrees of success, I have not tried taking it every 2 hours. I appreciated the author giving the dose of D-Mannose for this regimen but while he says every 2-3 hours for 5 days, he doesn’t tell you for how many hours of each day. Surely you don’t take it around the clock. Does anyone know the answer? His guidance on multiple supplements and his dietary guidelines are detailed and seem to make a lot of sense though there are some inconsistencies. For instance, he recommends an anti-inflammatory or Paleo diet but disagrees with many of the foods on those eating plans. That being said, I am desperate to stop my recurrent UTI’s so I’m definitely going to give many of his recommendations a try.

Had good information. I knew about the D-Mannose. It saved me about 15 years ago. But recently I had a UTI that D-Mannose wouldn't work on. I went on antibiotics, the infection returned, went on another round of antibiotics, ate about 16 cloves of garlic a day for a week, took 5 drops of DoTerra oregano essential oil 5x a day, found this book, and I've been using the suggested products with success so far (2 months). I'm hoping it doesn't come back.

This is just the book I was searching for! For years I have had (on and off) UTI infections. The last one was very serious as my bladder and kidneys were both infected. I was placed on Bactrim for 7 days but had to go back to my doctor for more Antibiotics. Finally got rid of the infection but it took ten days. Then I discovered this book. It helped me understand why I kept getting bladder UTI infections and how to prevent often reoccurring ones.What I like about this book:1 It is well organized and covers the different types of infections, explaining the symptoms and seriousness of each one.2 Antibodic therapy to end the infection and the common three prescriptions.3 Home Tests and how they work. This is a wonderful addition to this book.4 The dangers of taking the wrong Antibiotics and which ones are harmful he discusses. I was glad to know that Bactrim was OK...this is what I was prescribed. This chapter is a must read...I wrote down the harmful medicines and will ask my doctor not to prescribe these.5 This book as a whole is a must read if you get UTI infections. It is my go to book.There are MANY UTI books out there, however, this book helped me so much and will continue to, that I totally recommend it.

Balanced info (i.e., natural remedies are preferred, but allopathic--antibiotics--have their place).If the author were to update his webpage with oh-so-helpful product purchasing info posted March 2014, that would be spectacular.Or if any other knowledgeable person (clinician, researcher, well-versed consumer) were to blog about any additional PROVEN brands / products, that could be sooo helpful--if done in the same spirit as Mr. McLeod did... not promoting any OTC products for personal profit. He wrote his 2014 webpage supplement advising readers to go to brick-and-mortar stores or to order online (even spelling out which products might be found where), seemingly without even giving himself a kickback by way of affiliate links. Very refreshing, just like the reasonable pricing of this Kindle book!The reason I state the above re up-to-date product info is that we've found additional products of apparent quality that might be helpful to others to know about IF a qualified person were to reference personal comparisons or (better) independent laboratory test results or medical studies.

This book has changed my life! It has a lot of information you can find for free online but there are two tips I've never heard before. By doing them I'm down to two UTI's a month now. I used to get them up to six times a year. I'm hoping to reduce it down to once a year or none!. I'm going on my second year since reading this book.

I just devoured it as soon as I received it. It makes sense and I have been unable to find anyone anywhere to help us. My 80 year old mother is allergic to more than half of available antibiotics and now the pathogens are resistant to the antibiotics she can take. So grateful. Using the suggested supplements to eliminate proteus m. proteus penneri an klebsiella p. Hope it works and she will not get sick anymore with this nightmare!
